Who We Are
SprintOne Labs ("we", "us") is a software engineering agency and the operator of this website. We decide how the data described below is used, which makes us its controller. Questions go to hello@sprintonelabs.com.
What Data We Collect
We collect three kinds of data:
- Contact form data. Your name, work email, company, the topic you select and the text of your message.
- Analytics data. Pages viewed, approximate region, device type, browser type and referring site. Analytics cookies gather this, and only after you consent.
- Server logs. IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent. Our hosting provider records these automatically for each request.
The form is built for business inquiries. Please keep passwords, production credentials and customer records out of your message. This site is aimed at companies, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Why We Use It and on What Basis
Each kind of data has one job:
- Replying to requests. Form data lets us answer you, scope an estimate or prepare an audit. The basis is your request and our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries.
- Improving the site. Analytics data shows which pages help visitors and which do not. The basis is your consent.
- Keeping the site running. Server logs help us spot errors and block abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
Two things we do not do: automated decision-making about you, and newsletter sign-ups you never asked for.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic. Its cookies stay off until you accept them in the consent banner. Opting out takes any one of these steps:
- Choose "Decline" in the banner on your first visit
- Reopen the banner from the footer link and change your choice
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie category and its duration.
How Long We Keep Data
- Form submissions: 24 months from your last message, then deleted
- Analytics data: the default retention period set by the analytics provider
- Server logs: the standard rotation period of our hosting provider
If you become a client, project records fall under your contract instead of this policy.
Who We Share It With
Your data reaches only the vendors that keep this site and our inbox working:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its logs
- Our email provider, which delivers form submissions and replies
- Our analytics provider, which processes usage data after consent
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising. A disclosure outside this list would happen only when a law or court order requires it.
Some vendors process data in other countries. In those cases we rely on the transfer safeguards the vendor has in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your data
- Stop a use of your data that you object to
Consent for analytics can be withdrawn at any time through the banner. Exercising a right costs nothing and never affects how we treat you.
California residents. The CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion and correction, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We neither sell nor share personal information as that law defines those terms.
EU and UK visitors. The GDPR and UK GDPR add the rights to restrict processing and to receive your data in a portable format. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How We Protect Data
Access to form submissions is limited to the people who answer them. Connections to this site are encrypted in transit. No website is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as the job needs.
Contact for Privacy Requests
Send privacy requests to hello@sprintonelabs.com. Use the email address you gave us, so we can confirm the request is yours. We answer within the time the applicable law allows.
